Yes, this was our campus, and we students were very grateful for such beautiful surroundings. Even after going through such a drastic change from online to offline mode, all of us are highly overwhelmed with our journey. From giving online presentations to standing in front of the class and giving them offline, from interacting just with a bunch of people online to connecting with all others on campus, this is how the students of Batch'23 have spent their MBA life.

I had the privilege of attending this prestigious institution, and I can confidently say that it has been one of the most valuable experiences of my life. The faculty members at IIM Sirmaur go above and beyond to ensure that students have a thorough understanding of the subject matter and are well-equipped to succeed in their careers. The curriculum is rigorous and challenging, but it is also well-structured and provides students with a comprehensive understanding of business principles and practices. In addition to the academic curriculum, I was fortunate enough to start my own startup with seed funding in my final year. This exposure to real-world experiences and perspectives has been invaluable to my personal and professional growth. This institute has proven to be a beacon of hope for aspiring individuals who wish to make a positive impact on the world through education. From the moment I stepped onto the campus, I was struck by the serene beauty of the surroundings. The lush greenery and the towering mountains provided the perfect backdrop for a learning environment that is both stimulating and peaceful. There are over 25 clubs and committees to choose from, and I am glad to have been part of the placement committee, which helped me improve my soft skills in more ways than I could express.

IIM Sirmaur truly transforms an individual during their two years of tenure. Batch 07 started its journey online, letting students study and experience a very different side of the journey. The institute has proven to be a beacon of hope for aspiring individuals who wish to make an impact on the world. When we visited the campus for the very first time, every single one of us fell in love with the aura of IIM Sirmaur. The journey started like a magnificent sunrise, with students interacting through their laptop screens. Students have now broken the laptop screen setup. They are now out on campus, playing, giggling, discussing their future plans, and, of course, meeting at the canteen to dance to their favorite hook step of their song as the journey winds down like a peaceful winter sunset.

Having graduated from the prestigious Tata Institute of Social Sciences and on track to chart my career in administration and governance, IIM Sirmaur was a choice catalyst to amplify and redefine the contours of my potential. The scientifically structured programmes and the measured buoyancies they ensure to both freshers and experienced candidates make the ecosystem at IIM Sirmaur a quintessential soundboard for budding managers and administrators. Coming from a traditionally agrarian family and being a first-generation post-graduate, our institute of national importance never made me feel out-of-place, so much so that I topped the First year and secured the Merit Scholarship, further enabling me to explore my capabilities. During my time at the Himalayan IIM, I also served as a Placement Coordinator, forging relations with Corporate denominations and setting the benchmark that is IIM Sirmaur, in the industry. I would recommend IIM Sirmaur wholeheartedly to all aspiring managers that feel the need to professionally decorate and accentuate their acumen. The mountains can never do you wrong!

At the foot of the Himalayas, a stone’s throw away from the humdrum of the peaceful Paonta Sahib, nestles IIM Sirmaur with all its livery. A campus that never sleeps; you can always find some students burning the mid night oil for the important quiz the next day or some having their late-night tea break in the canteen. People from various cultures from all around the country, under one roof, with great teaching faculty guiding them towards their future. One of the most emphasized virtues inculcated at IIM Sirmaur is the attribute of giving back to the society around us, which can be seen in the various activities taken up under the CSR banner of the institute. Friends made, memories shared, experiences obtained, and most importantly, knowledge gained, true to the institute's motto, “Knowledge, Leadership.”

My experience at IIM Sirmaur has been truly enriching. The MBA course offered a wide horizon of practically challenging business scenarios. "Pursuing an MBA is a big decision and I'm glad that I landed up at IIM Sirmaur for my MBA. The batch of 2020-2022 across the world must have started with their degrees online and there were a lot of speculations around how the year is going to be for those pursuing a degree. Fortunately, the staff and administration at IIM Sirmaur have been great, our professors amazingly helpful, and I’ve enjoyed working with my batch on projects and other course-related tasks. Even though we started off with a non-traditional classroom setting, the course is laid out in such a way that I am able to apply my learned knowledge to real-life situations. We are also having a tremendous placement season, driven by the Corporate Relations & Placement Committee, IIM Sirmaur.
