Commitment to research excellence

“To me, research and innovations come from daily life and its connection with natural resources. Everything can be considered a resource till it ends up in the landfill. If we all practice circular material management (consists of 5Rs) in our daily lives (LiFE mission-https://www.niti.gov.in/life), then major landfill issues will be resolved.  Also, there is a scope for several valuables products generation out of this recycled waste. All over the world, scientists are continuously focusing on reducing carbon footprint and achieving net zero so that global warming can be controlled as per the Paris Conference goal. The climate risks on the economy are huge in Agriculture and tourism sectors,” says Dr. Arpita.

Words to young Management students

Speaking about the Education in Sustainability Domain, Dr. Ghosh embraced that “Business professionals should implement sustainability and circular material management practices at their best in all sectors. Implementation of ESG matrices in top industries becomes mandatory after COP 26. So it is of utmost importance that our young generations focus on mindful and minimum consumption of resources”.
