The third session of AY 2019-20 of the guest lecture series of IIM Sirmaur, Colloquium, started off by the introduction of Mr. Vinay Trivedi, the current head of human resources at ToneTag. Dressed in traditional Indian attire, he made an impact on the students about being unique in the world of common trends. He began by asking about the problems and challenges faced by the students. He emphasized the importance of having a pen and a note or for that matter, any recording device to take down points as necessary.
Mr. Vinay Trivedi reminded the students about all the reasons that they have considered while taking up admission in this college and that the main objective should be learning at all points of our life. He showed the importance of branding ourselves and showing to the world what we truly are. In his words, Its not just the brand of IIM but also us who should take ourselves forward a quote which resonated with the students to come out of their comfort zones and to keep the learner in them alive. The method of learning, unlearning and relearning was highlighted. The session concluded with a resounding recital of the Indian National Anthem.
